When we thought about going to l'Ile d'Yeu for a surfing expedition, we were not sure that there were descent waves to surf. We finally called some surfers from the Islands and the feed-back was terrible : "the worst french islands for surfing", "pretty dangerous with a lot of current"...
But the idea of sailing and cruising around the Island was good enough to go there and have a look. Surfing would have been a bonus.
We finally did, without anyone else, in some nice slabs!
Looking forward to go back there with more swell!
