We wanted to pay tribute here to the golden era of surfing, late 60's / early 70's. At that time, the shaping approach was improving a lot in term of board length, surf style and technique. The concept of the Vee Bottom was born during that era, when Bob McTavish invented this kind of bottom contour...
But as surfboards were evolving real quick, this concept was quickly forgotten as people were finding, in the evolution of shaping, some new ways of riding a wave.
This board is 7'2, it could be longer, could be shorter. Really playfull and fast due to its low rocker, we love the way it turns and makes the wave. It just feels like being in communion with the wave.
