We are pleased to unveil our exhibition program for the 2022 season.
After two years with amazing exhibitions of Julien Jaca and Baptiste Pauthe but without having been able to do any opening to present their work, we are delighted to be able to welcome you all again to present the works of Nicolas Malinowsky (May-June), Pierre David (July-August) and Naomi Gallay (September-October).
We have always been keen to exhibit on our walls the work of artists whose ideas are in line with the values of Surfin Estate. The spirit of openness, the desire to escape, the freedom, each of the three artists, with their own characteristics, represent a part of what makes the soul of Surfin Estate.
Nicolas Malinowsky : May-June
Nicolas Malinowsky is a multidisciplinary artist.
Skater for more than two decades, DJ, amazing graphic designer within the ill-studio collective, he is now based in Bordeaux under the name of Atelier Malinoswky. This jack-of-all-trades challenges with his originality and overflowing creativity.
He will come to Surfin Estate to present a selection of paintings with his very own style, full of colours and poetry.
Pierre David : July-August
Pierre David is a French director and photographer.
Known for his delicate yet powerful style that evolved from living a life full of fierce emotions and experiences, Pierre’s work can be best described as dark and symbolic yet solar and sensitive at the same time. Having been part of the underground art and music scene for many years, Pierre had always been deeply rooted in the countercultures of surfing and skateboarding that influence his work.
Naomi Gallay (September-October)
Naomi C. Gallay (1993) is a Swiss artist and designer. Her artistic practice ranges from painting, oil pastels to digital tools. Her art is focused on the human form, transcending the boundaries of classical portraiture and gestural abstraction. It positions itself as a commentary on racial inequality seeking unity in diversity through our common humanity.
